Use the library as a review starting point

The title is playful, not a claim that every schema belongs in every project. The JSONBuddy workflow opens JSON Schema files from schemastore.org, helping an editor examine established examples before adapting a specific contract.

Open, inspect, and control the source

  1. Use File | Open from JSON schema library....
  2. Inspect identifiers, definitions, and constraints before using the schema.
  3. Review the library source and licensing context, then save or adapt a controlled copy where the project needs change history.

Refresh the library when necessary and check network access if schemas are unavailable.

Generate sample data with review

The documented JSON | Generate sample document from JSON schema command creates a JSON instance from the loaded schema. Treat it as an exploration aid: review the values, assign the intended schema, and test expected-valid and expected-invalid cases.

Continue with the intended resource context

Use schema pools for related resources or the JSON Schema analyzer for structural findings.
