Starting with JSONBuddy 5, there is a <strong>new way to generate CSV output from JSON<\/strong> input in the editor: The &#8220;Convert JSON to pointer\/value pairs&#8221; command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To illustrate this method, we take the following JSON input as an example:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.json-buddy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/convert-json-csv-input-data.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-251\"\/><figcaption>library.json from the example files coming with JSONBuddy<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>And we use the &#8220;JSON | Convert JSON to pointer\/value pairs&#8221; command from the editor, which is applied to the active document, to get the following CSV output:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.json-buddy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/convert-json-csv-output-data.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-252\"\/><figcaption>CSV output from library.json<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>This <strong>CSV output contains all the data from the JSON input<\/strong> to create the original JSON structure again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>The left column is the JSONPointer where the actual value is located. The pointers contain the objects, arrays and property name information of the JSON input.<\/li><li>The right column is the JSON value.
